Club Rules

Rules and Regulations
  1. Membership Regulations:
    1. All members are responsible for the actions of their guests.
    2. Renters are guests of the Member that they rent from.
    3. Guests are the responsibility of the Member who invites them. Guests have temporary access to the beach as extended to them by their host Member and shall not have the right to invite guests and friends of their own.
  2. Beach Regulations:
    1. Every member is responsible for keeping the beach and facilities clean.
    2. Garbage must not be left at the beach facilities.
    3. Members and Guests are responsible for picking up the toys used by their children.
    4. Club owned chairs, umbrellas and other furniture kept in the shed must be put away after use.
    5. The last person or group using the beach area should put the goose barrier fence back in place.
    6. Everyone who uses a club grill is responsible for cleaning and putting it away if it is not one of the anchored type.
    7. Hours of use for the beach shall be from 6.00 a.m. to 10:00 p.m. The Club President must approve all exceptions; these exceptions may not extend beyond 12:00 a.m.
    8. Members are encouraged to participate in one workday per year.
    9. Children are not allowed to play in the Shed!
    10. Dogs are not allowed on the beach from Memorial Day through Labor Day. They must be on a leash and curbed.
  3. Parking Regulations: 
    1. On high use days of the beach such as Saturdays, Sundays and Holidays during the summer months, only one car per family should be brought to the beach.
    2. Please park in a neat and orderly manner to accommodate more cars.
    3. The boat ramp access way should not be used as a parking place, if it is necessary to park there, please be prepared to move your car in event of a Member wanting to use the ramp.
  4. Party Regulations:
    1. Only members can:
      1. Make party reservations
      2. Use the club facilities and resources for a party.
    2. A member must be present at all times during a party.
    3. To avoid conflicts when a member is hosting a large event at the beach; they should inform the Club President and mark it on the event calendar located on the web site.
    4. ONLY 1 MEMBER CAR may park in the parking lot Saturday, Sundays, and Holidays from Memorial Day until Labor Day.  PLEASE MAKE OTHER ARRANGEMENTS FOR YOUR GUEST PARKING!

    5. Any member family may only have 1 large party per year.  A large party is any party having 10 or more guests and/or reserving a table and/or reserving any other beach equipment (i.e. grill, cabana use, etc.).

    6. Only 2 large parties per day will be scheduled.

    7. All parties are on a first reserve, first serve basis.

    8. No parties on holidays or holiday week-ends.

    9. There are NO RAIN DATES!

    10. All member families have full use of all club facilities and may enjoy all privileges of membership at all times.

    11. Hosting member families are responsible for all guest's actions, activities and complete party clean-up promptly after the party.  Any property damage caused by a member's guest will be the member's financial responsibility.

  5. Boat Dock Regulations:
    1. The Dock Chairperson determines dock assignments.
      1. When there are no unassigned spaces available on the dock, a mooring will be assigned. The member’s name will be put on a waiting list for a dock space on a first come, first served basis.
    2. Boats must be registered in the member’s name or in the name of one of the member’s family.
    3. There will be only one dock or mooring assignment per member household.
      1. If there are open spaces available, a member household may have one more.
      2. If a request for a dock space or a mooring comes from a member household without a space, the member with an extra space will relinquish theirs. If there are multiple member households with two spaces, the member household who obtained their 2nd space last, shall relinquish theirs first.
    4. Members with boats on the docks or moorings are encouraged to participate in both the spring and fall workdays. Members who participate shall receive a $25 discount on their dock and mooring charges for each day they work, maximum $50.
    5. Children under12 years of age are required to wear a coast guard approved life vest while on the docks.
    6. All Children 10 years and under will only be allowed on the docks with an adult.
    7. There shall be no horseplay on the docks.
    8. People are only allowed to board boats at the invitation of their owners.
